R88 Rust Protector 20L

DESCRIPTION:

DEOX R88 Heavy Duty Rust Preventative is specially formulated to protect against the most severe and corrosive environmental conditions. It leaves a thin but tough silicone-free translucent film that can be easily removed with readily available degreasing solvents. When correctly applied, with all rust-prone surfaces covered, R88 will protect for up to 3 years or more.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, R88 should be applied when a maximum protection barrier is needed to avoid moisture intrusion. It contains excellent rust preventative properties, and is ideal for hand tools and machined parts, penetrating easily into hard-to-reach areas that are often prone to unseen corrosion.
DEOX R88 protects surfaces from salt deposits and high humidity, performing exceptionally well in chemically prone and corrosive environments. Using R88 during long-term or off-season storage will ensure parts remain moisture and corrosion-resistant for the entire duration.

APPLICATION:

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contaminants. Using a clean brush, apply a thin film to rust-prone surfaces, ensuring complete coverage for long-term protection.
If applying by aerosol, shake the can first, then spray in sweeping strokes approx. 250 to 300mm from the surface. Ensure all areas requiring protection have been completely coated

Always refer to the Safety Data Sheet/s before use. Use proper Personal Protection Equipment. Do not get in the eyes, on the skin, or clothing. Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid breathing fumes. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, and hot surfaces. This product may produce adverse health conditions, ranging from minor skin irritation to serious systemic effects. It should not be used, stored, or transported until the handling precautions and recommendations as stated in the Safety Data Sheet/s for this product have been fully understood by all persons who will work with the material.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORT:

Refer to Safety Data Sheet/s for recommendations. As a general precaution, keep containers tightly closed, protect them from sunlight, and do not expose them to temperatures exceeding 50°C. Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature (5 – 40o C). Do not return any unused material to its original container. Containers should be secured and stored upright during transit
