DESCRIPTION:

Chemtools® CT-PW Aqueous Parts Washing Detergent is formulated to give all the cleaning power of a solvent part washer but uses cleaning solutions that are safe and biodegradable. It is a 100% active concentrated parts washer cleaner designed specifically for high-pressure & temperature spray washing of iron & steel. The powerful cleaning action becomes more effective at higher temperatures. Chemtools® CT-PW is an aggressive detergent formulated to tackle the toughest soils of iron & steel.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

MAXIMIZING SHELF LIFE OF AQUEOUS PARTS WASHER 
Chemtools Aqueous Parts Washer cleaning liquid will last longer than solvents. To maximize aqueous solution life, you should:
1. Filter the solution, if cartridge filters are used, they can remove solids as small as 50 microns in size.
2. Do not change the solution on a scheduled basis. Change the solution only when its cleaning performance starts declining.
3. Please ensure that any oil residues are removed by skimming the free-floating oil from the top of the solution.
4. A change in color doesn’t necessarily affect the cleaning ability of the product, do not change your cleaning solution just because it looks dirty.
5. CT-PW contains corrosion inhibitors, therefore a final rinse with water may not be necessary if the part looks clean. Simply mop any excess liquid from the part by using a low-linting dry rag.
6. Dispose of waste products according to EPA guidelines. 

SAFETY:

Consult the product SDS before use. Harmful to the eyes. Skin contact should be avoided. Harmful if Swallowed.
Skin: Wash affected areas with copious quantities of water. Seek medical advice if the effects persist. Remove contaminated clothing.
Eyes: Irrigate the affected eye(s) with cold running water. If soreness or irritation persists seek medical aid. Swallowed: Seek immediate medical aid.

PRECAUTIONS:

 Personal Protection: Safety glasses, rubber gloves, and clothing. Will permanently stain clothing and equipment.

STORAGE:

The material is best stored in a well-closed container in a cool, well-ventilated area. Do not store near other chemicals. Mop up any spills with a throwaway paper towel.
