Liquid Chisel Formwork Release Agent 2.5L

DESCRIPTION:

Chemtools® Liquid ChiselTM LC201 is a unique and powerful formwork release agent designed specifically for the concrete industry. This non-staining product is 100% biodegradable and suitable for use on metal, wood, plastic, fiberglass, rubber, and more.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:

• Odor:   Slight wool grease and solvent smell
• Appearance:   Golden yellow liquid
• Water mix:  Soluble in water

COVERAGE RATES:

• Highly porous materials:  20 - 38m2 per Litre
• Semi-porous materials:  35 - 42m2 per Litre
• Non-porous materials:  45 - 52m2 per Litre

APPLICATION AND USES:

CONCRETING
For best results, mix 1 part LC201 with 7 parts water

• This product will not inhibit paint adhesion
• It will protect against corrosion
• It is economical and extremely versatile
• It can be used on pre-treated formwork and will extend the life of timber formwork.
• It will protect the ends of timber formwork from swelling

METAL COMPONENTS & SCAFFOLDING
For best results, mix 1 part LC201 to 5 parts water

• This product will prevent corrosion on metal components
• It will stop concrete from sticking to metal components
• It will also stop corrosion on fasteners and metal components

STORAGE:

Store in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children in original containers, at a room temperature of between 5°C to 30°C. Do not return any used material to its original container.

DISPOSAL:

All products should be disposed of by local regulations

PRECAUTIONS:

This product is capable of producing adverse health effects ranging from minor skin irritation to serious systemic effects. None of these materials should be used, stored, or transported until the handling precautions and recommendations as stated in the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for this and all other products being used are understood by all persons who will work with the material.
