Flux Remover GP 20L

DESCRIPTION:

Chemtools® KleaniumTM General Purpose Flux Remover is specifically formulated to remove most types of fluxes, including rosin and rosin-based no-clean fluxes that are found in post-solder applications (Type R, RA, and RMA). The quick penetrating, low surface tension action of this general-purpose flux remover will easily dissolve and flush away fluxes, oils, greases, grime, dirt, and other contaminants from electrical and electronic assemblies.
Typical applications include post-wave soldering flux cleaning, printed circuit boards, component leads, connectors, gold fingers, plugs, sockets, aerospace electronics, telecommunication equipment, and avionics. General Purpose Flux Remover will leave little or no residue and is non-corrosive and compatible with most rubbers and plastics. It exhibits rapid cleaning of a variety of soils such as waxes, oils, and greases

APPLICATION METHODS:

Apply by spraying onto the area to be cleaned. If the residues are stubborn, brushing may be required, followed by rinsing.
DeFlux-It G2 Flux Remover is available in various sizes for immersion cleaning, or filling pump bottles for use with brushes or foam-tipped buds. It may also be used in ultrasonic tanks that are adapted for flammable liquids. Harmless to most plastics, elastomers, and rubbers, it is recommended to test before use on sensitive plastics and rubbers such as ABS, acrylics, and polycarbonates. Use only in a well-ventilated area.

STORAGE:

Store in a cool, dry place, in tightly closed original containers, at a room temperature of between 5°C to 30°C. Do not place in direct sunlight or near any heat source. Do not return any used material to its original container.

SAFETY:

Do not spray aerosol near the eyes or face. Do not spray near a naked flame or any hot surface, and keep away from sources of ignition – no smoking. Keep out of reach of children. Extremely flammable. Protect the pressurized dispenser from sunlight and do not expose it to temperatures exceeding 50°C. Do not leave in-car interiors. Do not pierce or burn even after use. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating or inhaling contents may be harmful or fatal.

PRECAUTIONS:

This product is capable of producing adverse health effects ranging from minor skin irritation to serious systemic effects. None of these materials should be used, stored, or transported until the handling precautions and recommendations as stated in the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for this and all other products being used are understood by all persons who will work with the material.
