Features & Uses:

• Use on medium to hard materials.
• For countersinking and deburring in a wide range of materials including ferrous and non-ferrous metals
• The three fluted countersink is self centering with wide flutes and is used to provide a heavy chamfer in the entrance to a drilled hole.
• This may be required to allow the correct seating for a countersunk head screw or to provide the lead in for a second machining operation such as tapping.
• Gold Finish TiN Coating (Titanium Nitride) helps to dissipate heat and reduces friction and cold welding.
• The coating allows higher speed and feed rates and tool life is greatly increased.
• The TiN coating is achieved by Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD).
