DESCRIPTION:

Chemtools® Aqueous Stainless Steel Cleaner is specially formulated for the industrial cleaning of steel and stainless steel by quickly removing light surface oxidation, rust, and mineral salt deposits. It is low foaming and produces a metallurgically clean and bright surface. Aqueous Stainless Steel Cleaner is streak-free and rinses away easily. It is typically used on architectural products, railings, tanks, benches, and other structures and parts that can be wiped or immersed.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

• Do not spray onto the surface to be cleaned
• Soak a wiping cloth and wipe in a circular action until clean and free of rust

SAFETY:

This product contains phosphoric acid and acid fluorides. The liquid is highly corrosive and toxic. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Do not take it internally. Avoid breathing any fumes, mists, and vapors. Always work in areas with adequate ventilation, preferably outdoors to allow chemical fumes, and where applicable, solvent fumes to dissipate. The use of goggles, and rubber gloves, is required. If the material gets into the eyes, flush thoroughly with clear water for fifteen minutes; then seek medical treatment. Avoid skin contact. Material may cause severe burns. Always wash exposed areas immediately, using warm water and soap, followed by rinsing with clean water. If using regularly, obtain a tube of calcium gluconate gel and keep it at hand for emergency first aid. Observe all safety precautions.

STORAGE:

Store in a cool, dry place, in tightly closed original containers at room temperature between 5°C and 40°C. Do not place in direct sunlight or near any heat source. Do not return any used material to its original container.

DISPOSAL:

All products should be disposed of by local regulations.

PRECAUTIONS:

This product is capable of producing adverse health effects ranging from minor skin irritation to serious systemic effects. None of these materials should be used, stored, or transported until the handling precautions and recommendations stated in the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for this and all other products being used are understood by all persons working with the material.
