2.4mm 2% Lanthanated Tungsten Electrode -  T24L2

Lanthanated electrodes are suitable for applications in DC and AC welding. Their main areas of application are the welding of non-alloyed and high-alloyed steel, aluminium, titanium, nickel, copper and magnesium alloys. These electrodes are also suitable for use in micro-plasma welding.

Ignition characteristics are enhanced with increased amounts of lanthanum oxide (La2O3). 
Colour-coding: WL10 = Black / WL15 = Gold / WL20 = Blue

I found these dident shatter or splinter when cut with pliers, if I needed to use short tungsten and a button cap for tight spots these are great. The cobra brand that I tried shatter and splintered making them unusable on one end, not happy. Once bitten.
